This Large Coloring Book for adults & children has twelve designs that are repeated, 24 pages total.  It measures 8-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ x 5/16″. The patterns occur twice so you can compare how different the exact same design can look colored in a different way.  These designs were hand-drawn in 1977 and compiled into a coloring book for all ages.  The idea was to encourage conversation between children and adults so it is a wonderful family activity. Also great for girls-night-in gatherings, birthday parties, teen sleep-overs, kids camp craft, rainy day at the beach, etc.

The first page is an excerpt written by the artist about the joy of playing with color.  “It can be a way to get in touch with our own sense of balance, beauty and wholeness.  Coloring is also a way to communicate in a universal language.”  It then lists the many types of people who enjoy and can benefit from the activity.  This book has proven to be useful for ADHD, Autism, and Alzheimer’s. The silky smooth paper is ideal with our bright Rainbow Markers but work with any marker, gel pen, Sharpie, colored pencil, etc.  Crayon and water-color paint not recommended.
